The RA5100 is a versatile headset for use in both in-vehicle and on-foot missions. Its digital technology ensures hearing protection of 30 dB SNR with Active Noise Reduction (ANR), excellent speech intelligibility, and situational awareness. The RA5100 is software-upgradable and has built-in power for stand-alone operation or can be battery powered for reduced weight.

The RA5100 tactical communication headset meets the complex needs of users who operate in mixed role missions, which may involve operating inside and around noisy vehicles, and then transitioning to a dismounted role.

The RA5100 tactical communication headset is designed to cater for all types of hearing protection scenarios and across in-vehicle and on-foot missions. Digital Active Noise Reduction (ANR) provides attenuation levels of 30 dB SNR for constant noise and dual layer hearing protection enables 41 dB SNR for even higher noise environments. When operating in hear-through mode the audio is limited to protect against exposure to unexpected loud and impulse noises.

The RA51000 headset has been designed for direct digital communication with industry-leading devices. Detachable smart downleads provide connectivity to vehicle intercoms, smart phones, tablets, computers and other in-service equipment. The ruggedized RA72 dual PTT interfaces to a wide selection of radio and intercom systems and allows remote control of the headset. Remote, software-enabled performance upgrades are available without replacing existing equipment.

Built-in power allows for stand-alone operation, and it can also be externally powered for reduced weight. The boom microphone is left and right interchangeable. The robust mechanical design and construction. withstand tough electromagnetic environments, shock and vibrations. The headset is submersible to 1 meter and qualified to MIL-STD-461G and MIL-STD-810G.
