The RTS Tactical Gladiatore Ballistic Shield is built for those who refuse to compromise on protection and mobility. Engineered for rapid deployment in high-threat environments, this shield provides rifle-rated defense while maintaining lightweight maneuverability at just 9.65 lbs.
NIJ Standard: 0101.07 RF1 (equivalent to the previous NIJ 06 Level III), the Gladiatore is designed to withstand multiple rifle threats from various angles. Its strategically placed cutouts allow operators to stabilize their firearms, ensuring precision in the most demanding situations.
With ballistic-rated bolts for enhanced structural integrity and a compact 18” x 24” design, this shield offers superior protection without sacrificing speed or versatility. Proudly made in-house in the USA, the Gladiatore is mission-ready for law enforcement, military, and security professionals who need unmatched defense in the field.
Threats Tested
NIJ Standard: 0101.07 RF1, offering protection against 7.62x51mm M80 Ball, 7.62x39mm MSC, and 5.56mm M193.
Unlike the previous NIJ 0101.06 Level III standard, which only tested against 7.62x51mm M80 Ball, the RF1 standard includes additional rifle threats, ensuring broader protection against modern ballistic threats encountered by law enforcement.
Now engineered in alignment with the ASTM E3347/E3347M-25 ballistic shield standard—designed to validate full-shield performance, including edges, viewports, and fasteners, under multi-hit rifle and handgun threats.
Size and Weight
The Gladiatore is highly maneuverable at just 9.65 lbs, with an 18” x 24” size that provides optimal coverage while ensuring quick movement and rapid deployment.
Additional Information
5-Year Limited Warranty on all ballistic shields, covering manufacturing defects and replacement of essential components such as handles, straps, fasteners, and viewport systems due to normal wear and tear. If a shield is shot in the line of duty, we will replace it at no cost.
